Eli Lavell Godwin, 71 of Acworth died Saturday March 17, 2012. Funeral Services will be 11:00am Tuesday March 20, 2012 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel, Acworth. Interment will be in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens, Acworth. Mr. Godwin was a native of Brooks County and moved to Cobb County in 1993. He owned and operated IGA Grocery Store and was also a Butcher. He was a member of Powers Ferry Road Church of Christ in Marietta. Survivors include his wife Mary Anne Nevels Godwin, Acworth; Daughter Amy E. Godwin, Acworth; Son William E. Godwin, Lee’s Summit, MO; Brother Edward Lee Godwin, Quitman. Grandchildren Wyatt Godwin; Angel Godwin; Garrett Godwin; Meredith Godwin.
