Helen K. Hester, 82, of Stockbridge, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home, Acworth, with the Rev. Eddie Ashcraft and the Rev. Dwight Stallings officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. A native of Acworth, Mrs. Hester was a retired employee of the Nabisco Corporation and a member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband John Hester. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Franklin Hester of Fayetteville and Rickey Lamar Hester of McDonough. 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
