James W. Bonner, 56, of Acworth, died Thursday, July 26, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Sunday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bradley Dewberry officiating. Burial will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park. Mr. Bonner was born in Marietta and had lived in Acworth all of his life. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator prior to becoming disabled and was a member of the Blue Springs Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sibyl Bonner of Acworth; sons, James Craig Bonner of White, and Justin Bonner and Michael Cameron, both of Acworth; mother, Hazel Bonner Strickland of Acworth; grandmother, Roxie West of Acworth; sister, Marilyn Wigley of Acworth; brothers, Kenneth Bonner and Bo Bonner, both of Acworth; several nieces and nephews also survive.
