Phyllis Dearlene Carden, 76, of Acworth, died Sunday, February 12, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 Friday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with Mr. Zach Walden officiating. A native of Indiana, Mrs. Carden had lived in Acworth for the past 8 years. She retired as an accountant for Parodies Shops. She was an avid tennis player, a member of Alta, and attended Northstar Church. She is survived by her children, Gayle Robinson of Kennesaw, Barry (Dorothy) Robinson of Brownsburg, IN, Cheryl (Jerry) Magers of Richlands, NC, Randy (Cynthia) Robinson of Hiram, Kevin Robinson of Stockbridge, Lauren (Robin) Robinson of Savannah, and Kristy (Tommy) Reidy of Acworth; 24 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren; stepchildren, Sherrie Carden, Chris Carden, Angie Burks, and Scott Carden, all of Villa Rica.
